Thanks Woofy. So it would appear that I have low blood pressure in the morning and now I am taking BP tablets to lower my blood pressure. Oh dear! I think I might start my days later then. I certainly feel awful most mornings and get better and less tired as the day progresses.
Hello folks
Miserable day here .Drizzle mizzle and a tad chilly .
Yes start your day as you mean to go on Lofty ...slowly !!
I've done b all today but must shift in a minute and make some dinner .
Glad your teeth are still all in one piece Robinia :)
Have a nice evening all and a good weekend .

Lottie, I am the exact opposite, I start all bright and bubbly and then by 4pm am totally shattered and can't go on.
Lottie, if your BP is low in the mornings and you are taking BP tablets, tell the doc, its important.
I know what you mean Jude and Robi about only being nice but it was getting like a putsch out there...very nasty indeed.

We have been to town today and stocked up at M and S the dine in deal this week is lovely so we got two lots and a stash of other yummy stuff...not cheap but DH will eat it which is the main thing.
I hate the teeth scraping as well...worth it though I think
He'll be boogered tomorrow .He won't be able to ask his DT crossword questions ...hahaaaaa.
You have worried me Woofy. Please unworry me!!
sorry i did not mean to worry you, its just that if you have times during the day when your BP is too low then the regime of meds you are on to lower your BP needs reviewing. its not life threatening, doesn't "mean" anything, it just shouldn't be happening.
Thanks Woofy. I have just read on the NHS website that BP is naturally lower in the morning and rises in the day. The new tablets seem to be working in that my pm BP has dropped to better levels. I have never read my BP before and never had it taken first thing. It wasn't that low!! You know me I worry about everything.

I had someone phone me yesterday giving me an appointment for my hernia on 27th June. Someone else has just phoned me saying that it is now with a Mr Biswas (not Tiswas) who is the right specialist for the job. ~The new appointment is on 5th August. I asked why this hadn't been sorted before I was rung yesterday. Apparently, because of the area I live in the Doctors requests go to a call centre first and they deal with it before sending it to the people at the actual hospital. What a waste of time and money. I had asked yesterday who the consultant was and they said they didn't know as it was just general surgery.

Anyway, I am glad the appointment has been changed to the right person. The lady I spoke to today said if I had gone to the first appointment all that would have happened was they would have made another appointment with the right person.

It strikes me this call centre is totally a waste of money and unnecessary!! The lady today agreed with me!!
if you just feel a bit bleuch and can live with it no problem. If you feel tired, dizzy, unsteady etcet then you might want to raise it when the med is reviewed. Its more a quality of life thing....
I have felt a bit bleuch every morning for years. If I make an effort to get on with things I feel better quickly.
I'm laughing at shaney laughing now...hahaha

I used to be like you neti, I was always a morning person but now I'm turning into my mum, she was a late in the day starter. I didn't realise shops opened in a morning until I was old enough to go by myself, we'd always been the family being ushered out of the door by tired looking staff as the yellow sun blinds were being dragged down. lol

I had something similar happen with my appt for dermatology when I had my mole probed Lottie and even the dr's receptionist and the hospital one were both exasperated by the system. In fact the hospital lady gave me her number to call directly if I had an further problems. The world's gone mad.
I wonder what he's going to do with the money he gets for treating you, Lottie

Lunch with Sis. She is accompanying her man, who is in insurance and well off, to a big conference in Monaco later in the year and has been invited to a very posh do there, by a seriously top CEO and his wife. She is wondering whether to go... reason: sis and the wife used to work next to each other in a typing pool, and sis suspects Mme may now be getting above herself... ah, the problems my family do have.

The Jennifer Worth book Call the Midwife is being serialised on the tele

When they told Mr S at his last urology doings that he needs a prostate op ,he said he'd already had one ,in fact he#d had two ......."You have ? " they said ....followed by swift flicking through notes and computers ...... :))
lol jno....I guess it wouldn't go down too well if sis put Mme back in her box?
...Shame that's not until next year shaney, with Miranda Hart & Pam Ferris in it it looks hopefully good. Not so keen on Jenny Agutter. Miranda's character's called Chummy, hahaha.

Oh dear jno, tell sis to go & act indifferent and unimpressed...I can give her lessons :o)
Evening all. Had another busy day - and tomorrow seems to be working up to the same. Sis and me are going up to see our brother together as we have decided if he moves down to the farm at the end of next week as arranged we wont be seeing him for quite some time. I'm really going to miss him.
Anyway Lottie I should listen to Woofy about your BP as she sounds as though she knows what she's talking about. I haven't the vaguest idea. All I worry about is blood tests as you know. Talkin about hospital appointments do you remember when had my colitis and had to go for a camera job and was half way through the 'clearing out' procedure and half way through the day I got a letter telling me he had cancelled the appointment. Was I livid - I couldn't go out for the rest of the day. Then the starving glucose test when the Dr. put the wrong test on the form and they wouldn't do it when I got to the hospital. I think they are just trying to starve me to death :~)
Right - going to have a go at a bit of packing and sorting now. Will pop in tomorrow at sometime to say cheers! for a week. I hope your all have a good weekend aches and pains permitting.
See yer later 'gater(s)
Yes Jude I do remember and I remember what you said :-0
Morning all are we out enjoying the rain?
Good day...no woofy, I'm certainly not enjoying the rain. As much as we might need it I'd prefer it if it could wait until night time...and it's cold and windy.

pe po piddle....
Its blustery squally here today...not too bad.
