I only drink whisky .Can't stand gin .It was a sort of in house biddy joke at one time .
I think it all started with the post about the green wellie brigade and butlers way back in the mists of time .Someone was being uppity and I said something about my butler polishing my wellies and gin bottles and it stuck .

Is that all still rumbling on .?

Sainsburys is a nightmare .Every nutter in town wandering about in there .I'm going to stick to ordering the big stuff on line considering I've just got rid of a hundred and fifty notes .Mind you I did buy a pan ,two T shirts ......and a bottle of whisky :)

Lol woofy ..my dad spent his time in the MN dodging bombs . No wonder he could drink black and tan with whisky chasers and still walk in a straight line come closing time :)

I'm not a fan of Saturday shopping shaney but it's often the only chance I get to have a chauffeur/se. And I can't stand gin either, yuk. I haven't had a drop of brandy for a long time, if and when I do you'd better all take cover, I may become an embarrassment :o)

Hi Allo. Just called in to say hello and goodbye. Almost finished packing etc.. My youngest decided to come today to take the Yamaha piano I said he could have at his house as I don't play it enough. That took quite a long time with much taking it apart and getting it down the stairs and into his car. It's a good job he has a big car. My house was all tidy before he came with his girlfriend but was like a tip when he went. I'm so pleased he has his own house but I woiuld still let him move back if he really need somewhere. I can say that with ease as I know he would never want to ;~)
I didn't know you like the Travelling Wilburys Woofy. I love them. All brilliant entertainers in their own right.
It's not my birthday yet Neti. I'm off to Scotland for 5 nights with my sister.

This is it Robinia .I had to grab him while he was around .I can't lug all that heavy stuff and Saturday is the only day if he doesn't have to do a Sat morning at work .
I sometimes go with my brother but he goes out at the crack of dawn :) Otherwise I shop on line and get them to bring it .I can get things for neighbour too .It's a lot easier than huffing and puffing around with Picky looking at his watch :) He means well though and I am grateful .
Mind you it cost me beer !

I used to love whisky and lime in my younger days but haven't had one for a couple of years now, that's got my mouth watering!

Partly sunny here, shower due at noon (Accuweather) or 4pm (BBC); I'm not sure which one to go for. I suppose if I switched forecasts at 2pm I'd stay dry all day.
