What are the advantages/disadvantages of these drives? I'm thinking of getting one as my brother recommends it but I'd like other opinions please.

and STAY away from all those 'free' programs they give away in mags.

No offence taken at all Chucky, my knowledge on such matters is rather limited which is why I rely on my brother a lot.
