one of these old Spanish practices, obviously - leave a mouse's head on the doormat as a love token.
brrr, well I had to sleep with my socks on I was so cold, I am definitely not going to be budged from Acapulco whatever the Ed says, I don't care if the building crumbles into the sea under its own weight, at least the sea will be warm.

Still .....it's free entertainment .All the old girls chatting my brother up.. hahaha ... He said he had come over all unnecessary and had to have a hot choccie !
Bloomin 'parky here too ..but sunny and bright.

I'm back, and have a cracked shoulder so have to go for an x-ray in Nov. Just starting to pour down so am little bit wet from walking from the bus. Couldn't use brolly as I've realised that as it's green it makes my face a yukky scary colour. Still warmish here though, didn't need a jacket still in t-shirt and light slacks (yuk I hate that word - biddywear with corset knickers, just not me!)
helloooo - it's national pole Dancing day, c'mon maureen do your stuff...and a cracked shoulder is no excuse. I'll put a bit of duct tape on it....lord knows what I'm doing with that in me 1950s first aid bicuit tin.
You've all got one haven't you? :o)
it was a cold, crisp & frosty morn but it's bootiful now in the sun & there's been every wild bird imaginable in my garden
(no Vincent not the sort you imagine). The coiffeuse has coloured my hair perfectly & when I've squirted me knees and hips life will be wonderful...for a nanoo second.

Biddies, I've been thinking, wouldn't it be nice if somebody would mention the Beatles once in a while...? Wouldn't have to be often... I'll go first! ;-) Enjoy, the rest of you as well as Vinny (batteries, indeed!!)
Don't lose faith during this clip, there will eventually be a short interview with the provincial author himself (John Lennon had just published his first book.) (In case you're wondering, the interviewers are deliberatelly dry, the Academical Geek was their persona.)
this footage seems to be from that visit.
Couple of years ago I was sitting in a hotel lobby here in Stockholm when I noticed a collection of original Beatles photos on the wall. Turned out they had stayed at that hotel, but I don't remember which year: They were here in -63 as well, appearing on Drop In, a television show. Hostess Kersti Adams-Ray made them clap the signature tune of the show...
read all about it ...or just take a load off and have a cuppa
Maggie, what breed of dog is... er... your dog?
What an amazing head of hair, Robinia, like sunshine on amber. Beautiful.
current state of my own personal head and hair
Oh Neti, I keep seeing Scarlett O'Hara when I read your entries. (Second half of the film, mind you, not first, he he.) / Hope your shoulder's not giving you too much pain.
Bye now.
