I take the usual precautions as far as money, passport, and possessions. I'm also always aware of whats occurring around me. To be honest in most of the countries I've been I've felt safer there than in many places in the UK.
I also take the wife, she is with out doubt most formidable ☺☺
Usual things like money belt, passports locked in safe etc,
but I also take a first aid kit, including butterfly sutures/steri strips and a dental kit with tempory fillings. very handy, and less hassle than some of the foreign hospitals. X
The precautions I take on holiday are no different to the ones I take in the UK. I keep my eyes and ear open and don't put myself in a vulnerable position.
Having said that there was the time I walked through a riot in Paris......
Hi TWR, not too bad now thanks. I get to chuck that fibreglass strappy thing away next week, then it's back to the weights again, but it'll be a cautious start, just in case.
