Further to my previous question, has anyone recently visited Sharm, and does it seem safe, busy, quiet etc. due to the troubles in Egypt?

I know someone from work who went during the troubles and saw or heard nothing any different.

Friends cam back last week didn't really notice much activity.

I'm in the process of booking a trip there myself, there are some stonking deals to be had!

Sharm is usually very much remote from the troubles in Cairo.

Thats not to say you shouldn't enjoy your holiday with westerner caution though.
