Have You Been To Sharm?

Has anyone recently returned from Sharm, and what was it like as far as military everywhere, could you go into town at night, was the beach deserted, etc??

Have been to Sharm but prefer Taba , especially with the increasing troubles .Taba Heights is set on a private beach area / golf course, half a mile from the road , all entrances are securely guarded. Marriots , Sofatel and Hyatt
Regency hotels . Local population is primarily hotels staff. Random Curfews unnecessary unlike Sharm .The latter is more vunerable to terrorist attack , in my opinion
