Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

they took their time with Cliff, didn't they? Seems like years since they raided his house, let alone since anything allegedly happened.

Got out to a hospital checkup and back without being rained on, and apparently I'm fine (this is all to do with the heart attack I never had), so I'll see him again same time next summer.

I am considering changing some more money into euros for our trips. A year ago I got €1.40 to the pound, yesterday it was €1.25, today it's €1.24. I don't see it getting better either. Maybe I should transfer all my pounds into euro holdings and keep them under the mattress.

Mr S moans every month when he gets his pension from Germany which is paid in Euros.The rate goes down at a rate of knots .
Yes it did take them a while .He's been hung drawn and quartered by the press and the AB bar room lawyers though and mud sticks unfortunately.

Rain stopped and that shiny thing appeared so I grabbed my snippers and toddled down the garden. After a few minutes I felt a prickling just under my t shirt neckline. Thought it was a leaf and gave it a quick rub but it got worse until I finally got it out....a bumblebee! No sting, phew. She must have been grateful for allowing them to live in my house wall.

I think the bloke who shot her was mentally disturbed, if he hadn’t hung his violence on one thing, it would have been another...still sad and shocking though. Difficult day here, one long thunderstorm from 3,30 to about 7pm and the dogs were restless this morning as they could feel it coming. Rab’s shoulder is improving but he needs a couple of days rest, not pacing about and worrying.

Hotter and hotter. Hopingbto lunch with Hija, but she is zooming (in my car haha I don't think so) all over the island looking for play suits. Hopefully shell be back in time.
Been busy today. Have swept and washed patio. Put out 2 loads of washing. Ironed 1 set of bedding and had brekkie, and hoovered the house.

Went out to lunch with hija in a brit bar, it was a mixed platter, it was 'orrible. Just found out that a chap that we chat to in the winter at coffee is or was a quite famous dj Brandon Block. No me neither! Have been invited to Pacha Flower Power by 2 gay friends but think I'd better not go, they may waltz off together and then what would i do?
Have had a couple of swims and sunbathed for an hour and it's stonking hot. Mr N came home at lunch time and has taken up residence in the front room, I am now in cool bedroom. Siesta time methinks!

Just tried out a new self tan and mitt, golly I am getting darker by the minute! Won't be allowed back into the UK if I get any darker!!
I've just eaten test and marmalade and a cuppa, Mr N made himself a salad, I couldn't be a!!

Dreary old day here ,chilly and blowy,raining on and off.We've had the heating on would you believe.
Thank you Neti for the post. I've just got two more episodes of my box set of the Streets of San Francisco to watch and then I'll get stuck in .Am dying to see Clark in his wig again:)
Got a lot done yesterday.The fence is all repaired and the shed comes on Tuesday ,so we're getting there.Shame the weather held it all up.

Morning...overcast out there but brightening up...after Thursday evening's horrendous deluge we've had a couple of 'ok' days, no wind, no sun (one shower on Fri teatime) but mild and good for getting things done.

I've got slight rusty tint, I need more practice with this self tanning lotion.
Note to self: Remember where to stop when wearing a scrubbing mitt in the shower. Ouch.
