If these murders were carried out on Black youngsters by White youngsters, they would be classed as racist hate crimes, then there would be an almighty outcry and swift action taken.
Why is it that the same action is not being carried out on this ever increasing Black on Black crime?
For goodness sake stop bashing AOG over this. Loads of people make the same mistake and the subject wasn't obvious in the headline if you were just skimming down the list of threads in News.
/// Don't you ever read anyone else's topics AOG. ///
Why tell me in such a rude and obnoxiousness way?
I obviously missed the thread entered by DeeLicious for which I apologise to the poster for, but I am not the first to duplicate posts and it is 100% sure that I won't be the last.
There is a polite way of informing your fellow ABers of their mistakes and there is your way, I was always brought up to use the former, it's a pity you wasn't.
What the Mail has said cannot be denied, no matter how much you would wish to twist the figures, I know that you would wish to cover over such news for your own agenda, but you can't cover up facts. But if it is the DM that upsets you so much, here it is reported by the Times.
For goodness sake stop bashing AOG over this. Loads of people make the same mistake and the subject wasn't obvious in the headline if you were just skimming down the list of threads in News.
Then the Ed and others complain how threads turn into slanging matches.
An Answerbank member enters a perfectly in order news item, which by a simple mistake has already been entered before. (not unusual it happens all the time) and for which I apologised for.
But then the likes of you who spends all your time sitting on the bylines attacking me, so who is it who actually turns a thread into one all about me?
I will no longer contribute to this thread and hope that the ED and her team realise who the ones are, that are spoiling AB for all those who enjoy joining in healthy debate on topical subjects.
Just taking one short period when there was one more murder in London than there was in New York, does not prove an overall trend. It is being reported because it is unusual not because it is usual.
I could take a day with an unusually high death rate in New York, 11th September 2001 for example, when 2,996 people were murdered in a single day. Comparing that day in New York to that day in London would be stupid, as is your comparison.
//I find you attitude extremely condescending AOG. But then you're a DM reader so I can excuse you - personally would rather read a quality newspaper. //
