Why would you still fly into a fire bomb, and take your kids, (Greece) Do we have a stand off here? The holiday companies wont cancel, because that means a loss to them, and the customer wont cancel for the same reason, but prepeared to risk there lives. The goverment wont advise not to travel, because they are as always gutless. Lets just wait until a few die before we see any sense. Rant over.
The BBC has over hyped these hill fires for its own agenda. It blamed climate change. Actually arson. Once again instilling fear on top of an unfortunate yet not totally rare occurrence. The world is not burning, the BBC IS VERYMUCH BIASED.
It's not just the BBC though - all the news outlets are reporting the same thing.
The problem isn't just the fires, though. Hundreds of rooms of holiday accommodation are suddenly not available and won't be for weeks.
I get that people stand to lose hundreds of pounds, and lose the holiday they've been looking forward to, but really, your money or your life? AND TAKING YOUR KIDS??8

david is spot on. More scaremongering and brainwashing.
The BBC, and others, are so obsessed with pushing 'climate change' that they exaggerate and blame everything on it. Add to that the usual tabloids (complete with 'selective' phots) going well OTT and people start to switch off and ignore it.
I fail to see what benefit the BBC gets from pushing climate change. They get criticism from the climate change campaigners for jetting their reporters and staff around the world and within the UK.
