Tory Donor Lord Bamford Funds The Reform...

Does anyone know if you can take a one-day trip from either Sydney or Melbourne to Ayers Rock?
I know it's a very long way, but if I can fly to Rome or Lapland for a day trip from Belfast, it's hardly seems impossible!
Any help most welcome....

If I remember my geography correctly, Belfast to Rome is approximately 1962 km; Sydney to Uluru is approximately 3,200 km, and Australia is slightly bigger than the whole of Europe (someone will be able to give exact dimensions I'm sure).
Not until I visited the country could I even begin to appreciate just how vast it is!
I would rather say, "it hardly seems possible."
