Sorry for the foggy style of the question.
On arrival at Paris Beauvais airport does public transport offer a reasonable alternative to car hire(the Parisian road network being a bit daunting to a novice Continental driver).
Thats for 2 adults and 2 children plus luggage.
Any experiences?
Based on some experience and some research, I think it will be a bit of an ordeal. Beauvais does have a reasonable bus service to the city but takes about an hour. The service is linked to flight arrivals apparently, and costs '10 pp. I think you would then get a train - RER line A - from to Disney which takes about 35 mins. Not
sure about transfer from bus to train, and that may be the difficult bit, although the Paris Metro is excellent and covers most areas pretty well.
Sorry I can't be more help and good luck.
Just to clarify BenDtoy's answer, Le Beauvais flights are through Ryanair and fly from Glasgow Prestwick. They are cheap and there is a bus service linked to flight times both there and back to Paris very near the Arc de Triomphe. However we found difficulty getting a taxi at the bus terminal and had to walk with cases till we found one. We couldn't see a taxi rank at the bus terminal which seemed a bit strange.
