1 month left on passport

we are going holiday to Greece for 1 week and my 15 months old son have 1 month left on his passport( which Polish passport holding) we try contact Polish consulate about his passport but they said we need to go back to poland to register his polish birth certificate ( he was born in England and got British Birth certificate)and then we need to come back and make appointment to renew passport which is the available date is after the date we coming back from holiday!!! anybody got some experience like thishappen??? please share

It's the GREEK embassy you need to ask about how long his passport needs to be valid for.

As Poland is in the EU as long as it's valid on the day you return from holiday I would guess you are OK.
