We keep getting a message saying that the following has been detected: 'Trojan horse Downloader.VB.3.F' but when we run AVG or Spybot it doesn't seem to disappear, can anyone advise how to remove it completely?

I had this problem recently too, not with a VB.3.F I have to say though. Mine was a Keenval.B. In the end I had to do a 'system restore' and that got rid of it, so it might work for you. Unfortunately, I'm not PC literate enough to explain what I did - maybe someone else can do that, or you might know anyway! Good luck.
