points club

Has anyone any experience of a points club. I keep getting calls from anu.com under this site http://www.pointsclub.co.uk and the offer seems very good. They are not buying points but I am just unsure. Has anyone heard of them?

Basically you buy so many points (500, 1000, 5000 or whatever) and this entitles you to a holiday.
The "cost" of a holiday (in points) depends when you go and how big your accomodation is.
So it may be a certain resort in January is 500 points but in August is 4000 points. Or a 1 bedroom chalet is 1,000 points and a 3 bedroom is 5,000 points and so on.
The problem is that they tell you that for say 3,000 points you can have a greta holiday so you buy 3,000 points.
Then when you come to book they say "oh you cant get much for 3,000 points" and encourage you to buy more.
So you have a choice, give up the 3,000 points as a bad buy, or buy some more, costing you more money
Be VERY careful of these companies, they can make anything sound great until you come to actualy use them.
