Hi, im looking to get a day return from Manchester to London using Virgin Value 14 day advance tickets, but the Virgin website say no trains are available, and everywhere else quotes very high prices at me! I want to travel within the first week of January so does anyone know how to help?

This might be repeated but try www.qjump.com or it might be www.qjump.co.uk where you might find alternatives. I have found recently a couple of times that virgin are by far the cheapest.
