When travelling by train from Reading to Hereford, it's more or less straight through, but now it seems that we have to go to Newport and then back to Hereford...anyone know of any reason why...any big engineering works going on or what? Ta Muchly.

The line between Oxford and Worcester is closed in whole or in part until the end of August.
