new zealand over stayers
i recently came to live in new zealand with my best friend. he is a uk resident. his father and all that side of the family live here... however he is now an overstayer by 2 years. I am an australian citizen by birth, and i am going to marry him to give him the necessary docs to eventually gain permanent residence...... however we have to get him out of the country then back in so he has the necessary stamps in his passport. has anyone got any tips or advice on this kind of situation?

He is a UK resident....so i take it not a British passport holder...so losing his ppt means he has to apply for ppt from his own country....means losing his British residency stamp. Been out of UK for 2 years meaning he has lost his British residency anyway and Brit immigration officers love to spot that.
Nice little Pataks pickle your friend is landing himself and you in. Want my advice......nah i better not....makes me angry this does....the blatant front of it all.
