More Snow Problems.

When is this going to be put right? they knew the snow was on the way! what happens, Skids, accidents, areas come to a stop, whats the answer?

Drive slower?More carefully? Be aware of other drivers? Don't drive at all unless necessary?

I don't think we get enough of it to warrant spending millions of pounds, so there probably isn't too much that can be done.

When rain turns to snow you can't grit because it gets washed away .

I'm with BOO - the answer is for people to drive more sensibly It's not the governments responsibility to ensure you can drive as fast as the speed limit says at all times.

Yeah, was pretty bad TWR most of the day, then it rained about teatime and washed most of it away, thank God!

I think the answer lies close to home, winter tyres if you live in an area prone to bad weather and snow chains for occasional bad weather. Add to that some common sense and things could improve considerably.
