Called in today to buy Maxie good dried food - asked an assistant for help to get conditioning stuff for his fur. She chewed gum and chewed gum and blew bubbles into my face before saying "Ah you need him groomed".
Jollye's pet stores are usually better (and often quite a bit cheaper) than Pets at Home.
There's no store in Belfast, Conne, but the one in Lisburn is by Tesco, off the A30 (Prince William Road/Thiepval Road). There's also a store to the north of Belfast, on Glenwell Road (off the A6, Antrim Road) at Glengormley.
thanks Chris - glanced at most of your links - getting him to take pills is a nightmare - I really don't want him to get groomed at this time of year - he needs all the hair he has for going out. Will try maybe conditioner on his coat when I next shower him. Hopefully it will work.
could i recommend this http://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk/dog-food-reviews/0671/eden-dog-food it gets 5/5, it's all natural and though my pup didn't have any skin problems before i put her on this, her coat has gotten so much more glossy and soft since she's been eating it. Have you also tried Johnsons baby shampoo on him? a vet told me it's better to use than dog shampoo as it's much more milder. And can i just say i love how much you care and look after your pup. We need more people like you as it brakes my heart so much when people are mean to them.
