There was a letter in The Guardian today about being able to send clothes and shoes to the refugees in Calais via Amazon wish list - which I would like to do - but I have been on Amazon, and can't see how it works.
The letter writer sent a bulk purchase of men's waterproof trousers (which will be delivered on Monday at the latest), which I thought was very practical and would like to do something similar.
Any thoughts?
SVEJK and FRUGALFRED you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.
I can't believe that your parents brought you up to be that way.
Have you no humanity?
There are plenty of other sources for the same story, if you choose to wring your hands rather than believe them that's up to you.
Me, I'd put a Bulldozer through there!
When you find the source to send the clothes to Calais, don't forget to add some pork sausages, bacon and pork chops, so they can cook them on the clothes.
Loads of donated clothing is simply being destroyed. Complete waste of time sending it. Information comes from EX volunteers who realised their efforts were not appreciated.
Before you go sending ANY kind of help or assistance to those economic migrants in Calais, please watch this video about the terror they are inflicting on local people.
