Amazon Charges

On my bank statement I have been charged £70 by Amazon for a prime service I did not order. How can I cancel it. Please help

Ring them on 0800 496 1081 and tell them you did not order it.

Have you got an Amazon ? You can cancel your Prime Account on your account page.

Have you used any part of the service, such as next day delivery of Prime Video?
What is the start date of the contract?

You probably did order it (though you may not have noticed).

They often stick a statement near the bottom of an Amazon order which says "Do you want to join Amazon prime", which has tick in the YES box.

If you don't untick the box then you automatically join Amazon Prime.

It is easy to cancel but they do not give refunds. Hae a look at YourPrime account and cancel it before the anniversary date.

Look in Manage My Prime Account.

I have recently cancelled mine. It runs until July so I am going to make the most of the free delivery perk before it finally runs out.

Thank you all for your answers. I have taken note of all items
and will see what I can do.. I Have sent them an email saying I have been
scammed , I wonder what they will say. Next I will try the phone. I have
the service once only.
I think VHG is right I did not see the box
I am 89 years old and suffer with Age related Macular Degeneraion,
so I have a good excuse. Thanks again everyone

.I have managed to get on to my aacouint and explain everything.
They have now cancelled this prime account in an email they have just sent me and that my money will be returned in seven days.
