Photos All Out Of Focus

I've deleted over half of the photos on my iPad Air because of lack of storage warnings from iCloud. Now the remains are out of focus. Help!

I'm tempted to ask how many you'd had when taking them !

If they were in focus previously then I can't envisage why they'd suddenly not be, unless you viewing software was having issues. Do you have another viewer you can use to check them ?

I started out yesterday with 915 photos and now have 638 but am not finished sorting them out. My storage has gone from 35.4 mb to 285 mg . On the out of focus photos there is a little round white clock like circle in the bottom right hand corner and it stops at a quarter. If it goes all the way around then the photo gets into focus but it's just stopping now at that quarter OG.

Try opening your photos with a different program. What are you currently using to open them?

I'm just taking a stab at this but it sounds as if it's downloading using the system where the basic detail is sent first then greater detail added with following data. Maybe the comms fails to send all the data, leaving it blocky/blurred (and the clock stopping at a quarter).

I'm not into "cloud" stuff, my private data stays with me; but is it possible to download a picture file to your PC/Pad first and look at it from there ?

Hope they are all backed up.

Good question Ratters. I just realised that I have "All Photos" and my different self made files. I don't have camera roll and photo stream. I think I did something with iCloud to get more storage without knowing much about what I was doing.

I think that you are right OG. Strangely enough it's not all of them that are blurry. Hmmm
