Clutter

Been having a bit of a clear out of clutter and have had a few trips to the skip and to charity shops but................what do you with greeting cards? I feel so guilty about recycling them as my family took time to buy/make them so I have a large collection of birthday, mothers' day, valentine's day, get well etc etc. What do you do with yours?

My mother gave a large sack of cards to take to the tip. When he got to the tip he began to read them. Well he returned home with the sack which went right back in the hall cupboard!

I'm a sentimentalist and a hoarder, I can't throw them away.
I've tried...then I start reading through the messages and I get all nostalgic.

I'm a crafter , so I reuse pretty card fronts to make new cards and the backs (if suitable) as shopping lists or scribble cards for the children.

Very special ones only are kept.

I keep special occasion cards and the pretty ones. Of course those from hubby!!

You could make a colouge from them you can get frames from Wilkos

I do as Mamya does...and when I was working I turned them into jigsaws for the kids.....x

I turn cards into gift cards or recycle bin them

Thanks for all your suggestions. Think I might make up a collage of all the hand-made ones from my grandchildren and recycle the rest.

I keep some special ones. The rest I cut into strips for shopping lists or reminders.
I have hundreds waiting to be cut up.
Every occasion we get cards from each of five grandchildren, the cats, the dogs and used to get them from the goldfish too when they had them.
