I went to Asda yesterday and got £50 cash back but forgot to pick it up from the dispenser.

That'll teach me for not paying attention.

You never know some honest soul may have handed it in in the shop - it's worth asking.

cassa go back there are still honest folk out there..I found £200 in dispenser once...fortunately the owner turned up just as I was going into bank with it..

Ahh......I thought you meant from the checkout person, Cassa.....which is what happened to MrG.

I have found money in a cash machine....it must have been there some time.
Tried to find the owner with no luck.

Oh but I did, Sharon......it became my challenge. In the end I split it. I gave half to my favourite charity and half to a lad who was doing some work for me.
His mum had just been diagnosed with cancer so I told him to buy her some flowers on his way home....
Everyone happy....well except the person who walked away leaving the money at the machine...... :-(

The same thing happened me too - it was £200 - too slow in picking it out and the dispenser "sucked" it back. I got it back too. Go to your own bank and good luck.

Definitely check with them as there are honest people about who would have handed it in.

A couple of times I've found people's debit cards and rang the bank to let them know so the person who lost it at least knew it had been found, reported and destroyed rather than someone having stolen it.

Whoever found it in the dispenser had a good day.

Baz....was a long time ago .....can't recall all I did but with the help of the shop I know I tried everything... and they did.....

I even left a note stuck on the machine for ages thinking they may use it regularly......but nothing..... :-(
