How is oh today?

I went to see him tonight. He was much better than I could have hoped for. He was out of bed but not dressed. They had to remove three ribs to get at the tumour. He is suffering from very low blood pressure, almost collapsed when he first stood up.
He says he feels fine in himself.
One of the doctors is supposed to be ringing me tomorrow to fill me in on the op.

When I phoned yesterday, the nurse I spoke to said yes to keyhole but her English was not good. So when I saw him I said that's good they did keyhole. Reply? Stupid woman how do you think they got three ribs out through a keyhole!!

Good news the op went well Caran x Just to make sure there are no more mis- communications, ask to speak to a relevant doctor tomorrow morning.Don't be fobbed off with "they will get back to you"! Been there and done that! Insist!
