I sat and watched some cuckoos yesterday afternoon. There were at least 2, and they were calling to each other like billyo, very loudly and most insistently !

Would these have been one of each, or maybe 2 males, both vying for the same female ?

next I Have A Pond With No Pump Or Anything Artificial With Cristal Clear Water And Very Healthy Goldfish And A Lot Od Small Fish.the Only New Addition Is Frogs And A Hot Climate Of 42C. A Few Days Found The Water Murky A Today A Dead Goldfish Dead

Apart from being rather cuckoo myself the only experience I have is with the little wooden ones that pop out of clocks on a regular basis.

You're lucky Micky, I've not heared a single cuckoo this year :-(
According to an old song "June the cuckoo will change their tune" (or something like that) maybe they don't know its June yet ? :-)
