With apologies to Marcus Valerius Martialis (Martial):
Non amo te, Hillary, nec possum dicere quare;
Hoc tantum possum dicere, non amo te.
The English verse, composed in the 17C, is:
I do not like thee, Doctor Fell,
The reason why - I cannot tell;
But this I know, and know full well,
I do not like thee, Doctor Fell.

I don't see that there's any evidence that Hillary would be awful. Not brilliant, sure. But when was there ever a truly brilliant president? Most of the allegations made about Hillary remain allegations, rather than actually necessarily true (as a case in point the email controversy led to no formal charges, and while that's hardly a ringing endorsement there's also a limit to how long you can hold something against someone when they've been cleared; ditto the Benghazi deaths, where Clinton's mistakes were nowhere near criminal).
Clinton would be near to my first choice for president in normal circumstances all the same. These are not, however, normal circumstances. On virtually every sensible measure, no matter how bad Clinton comes out Trump scores worse -- and often by orders of magnitude.
