Are you now telling us that you have established Google Search as your Home Page. Well done if you enjoy being flooded with adverts and Google noting every site which you visit.
A few. Bing; Dogpile; & Duck Duck Go. The latter being a Search Engine that Does Not track one's Internet movements. Dogpile is excellent, although the name is unfortunate, but it does do a 'metasearch' involving other Search Engines, which unfortunately includes Google, which I really dislike; so I am inclined to avoid it.
'hc... I comprehend what you are saying and, as I have nothing to be ashamed of in my Internet searches but have a compete dislike of Google, I am inclined to use Bing which, although it does track, it does Not do so with the same aggression as Google. Furthermore, I think Bing has been proved to be as good,or even better than Google. Both need something to control advertising material and my Firefox Browser has a suitable 'add-on'.
".....It’s a neat little time-saver which has benefits for DuckDuckGo as well, as it collects a commission from eBay and Amazon for anything that you purchase from those sites after visiting them through DuckDuckGo."
Issues get more and more complicated and the mind can really be boggled by what happens every time one clicks onto the Internet; whatever site is involved. It's a bit like crossing a road with the possibility of being injured, but we still take chances or stay at home and the ceiling falls in on us.
