The episode tonight was absolute rubbish - hope it improves or it certainly won't be on my "to watch" list.
Yeah, still good. it had me laughing.

Maggie, I liked it .!!!
Sorry Anne, usually love this programme, but thought tonight's episode was very poor. Will give it another try next week though.
Had me laughing too. I love Still Game.
Aaagh!

I'd forgotten that it's back! (Thank heavens for catch-up TV!)

I might have to finish working my way through the boxed set of what, up until now, had been the complete series though ;-)

I remembered you liked this Chris. Its not everyone's " cup of tea "
It was originally on at around the same time as 'The Office' was winning lots of wards, Anne.

I could never understand how such a rubbish programme was even getting nominated when 9 out of 10 people seemed never to have even heard about (the far superior) 'Still Game'!
well said chris, its being one of my fave shows for over 14 years now
Should be named "Still Crap"
I've only heard of it in the last few days. How have I missed it, and should I catch up with it, somehow? Is this a new series or repeats?
It's a new series, Jo.

Still Game originally ran from 2002 to 2007. It's about a couple of old guys, Jack and Victor, who simply want to be able to get on with their lives but who seem to be beset by problems (which they refuse to give into).

It's a sort of Scottish 'Last of the Summer Wine' for grown-ups. It might take a bit of getting into but it's worth the effort!

This is one from the original series:

Thanks, Buenchico. I think I'll have a look at the new series.
Started watching it, gave up. Didn't make me laugh at all.
personally i think it works for me as i have scottish relatives, and it reminds me of their humour, i'm sure if it wasn't for that i wouldn't be tuning in.
I thought it was hilarious when he bought the stone in which to hide his door key.
