//Despite the rising number of xenophobic attacks in Germany, Schaeuble said he believed the majority of Germans would say: "Yes, we want you to belong to us."//

A man who doesn’t understand that Islam doesn’t embrace patriotism - nor that Islamists are saying exactly the same thing about the Germans.

This report from October didn’t make the headlines, but it should have done. Are Europe’s leading politicians really so blind to reality?

Keyplus > you must understand that this extreme version has nothing to do with Islam...

Staggering...
keyplus, I hear what you say, but;

"Allah, kill the despicable Christians. Allah, kill each and every last one of them...." — 16-year-old Muslim son of an Islamic cleric living in Belgium.

A sentiment being espoused in the heart of Europe, surely you must agree that this has to change.

'German Islam', 'Belgian Islam' and when integration throughout European countries is achieved there will be so many adapted models of Islam that there will be no confusion. Simples!

Keyplus is referring to the CIA/the FBI/MI5/MI6/James Bond and the Uncle Tom Cobbley of all western security services, fake or otherwise, some or all of whom he claims are responsible for every atrocity ever committed in the name of Allah – but as usual he’s deliberately attempting to disguise the real issue. This isn’t about terrorism or Al-Qaeda, or the Taliban, or IS, or Boko Harem or any other organisation we may care to mention. It’s about the refusal of the followers of Islam to integrate into the societies they’ve chosen to invade – and I use that word intentionally for that is what, albeit by subterfuge, is happening. Despite Keyplus’ misleading conspiracy theories, the CIA cannot be held responsible for people calling for death to British servicemen, or for manic hordes ranting for the heads of cartoonists, nor for the fatwas placed upon authors and free thinkers, nor for appalling sexual abuse of western females, nor for poppy burners, nor for the ambition of Islamists (Keyplus included) to see the introduction into our societies of Sharia Law and the black flag flying over every free western nation. That is what the people of the west are seeing and all of it – and more - can and must be laid squarely at the feet of Islam. Keyplus refuses to engage with one or two of us because we are well aware of the disingenuous game he’s attempting to play – but of course, Islam not only allows him to do that – it actively encourages him to do that. By its very nature Islam, quite simply, cannot change. Keyplus knows it – and he knows that I and a few others here know it too – but well done him anyway for at least acknowledging that the west does have a problem with Muslim migrants – something that many here seem incapable of doing.
Award yourself BA Naomi! Very well said.

Completely true of course. Conspiracy theories abound and Keyplus is a habitual proponent of them and it is nothing short of a deflection tactic to absolve those who have instigated the types of behaviour you mentioned.

I, too, have used the word 'invasion'. When I first used it I repeated it back to myself as it is a strong word and I thought am I being harsh? I soon came to my senses, however, for that is exactly what it is.

It makes my blood boil when I read the comments of the ilk of the sociologist in the link I provided who stated that there is a significant onus on the host to adapt and change their ways to suit the migrant culture.

It is stealth and insofar as Germany goes it will be interesting to see how this all pans out especially as Merkel has stated her intention to serve another term and worrying, retains much support.

Has she done too much damage with her 'wir schafen das' approach I wonder?

agc; The problem is that she didn't say (or even understand) who "we" are.
Khandro - indeed. Another example of arrogance with a 'I know best attitude'.

I don't know how Merkel came to such a conclusion as it was made on so many wrong levels. Even if she thought that the numbers were manageable and that she had every confidence in the German people to help integration, she seemed to have underestimated the nation's concerns and many of the migrants themselves who don't want to learn German or integrate full stop.
"I, too, have used the word 'invasion'."

So have I, agc. I used it frequently in the Spring and summer when the European migrant crisis was in full swing. I was castigated from some quarters by it but I stand by what I said. Europe is being invaded by Muslims (almost all of the migrants involved in the summer Exodus from the Middle East and beyond were of that faith). As I said then, because they arrive without guns and tanks makes it no less an invasion and Western governments have been negligent in recognising it (or at least accepting it). Europe is now paying the price for that staggering negligence.
As is pointed out here;
http://gatesofvienna.net/2014/04/fascism-is-rooted-in-islam/
and Islam is likewise rooted in fascism, it was that and it's hatred of Jews that gave it such appeal to Hitler.
One might expect that Germany was an unlikely place to allow the rise of a fascist organization, but it seems the penny hasn't yet dropped for the government of quite what is underway.

Having said that you must understand that this extreme version has nothing to do with Islam and therefore its not Islam that needs making amendments,
