Blocking Spam Emails
8 Answers
My email address seems to have been recently acquired by spammers and I am getting an irritating increase in spam.
blocking them isnt working because the senders email address isnt t the same as the 'reply address'.
Sometimes the senders address is my own email address and/or various names ending with my email domain.
Also I am using windows live mail which 'message rules' doesnt seem to apply to.
All these email seem to have similar subjects ( been through all the banks and paypal now) currently its about court appearances etc.
Phew.... so question is what is the best product to reduce the annoyance please?

Chrissa, they havent got into my emails, It looks like the address has been 'crawled' from my web site. The emails from my address are not actual addresses ie things like [email protected] or [email protected].
this means I cant block the domain because it looks like it came from my domain.
I dont think the blockers access the 'reply address' which is the real spam address.
