Gibraltar
Hi, I'm hoping to go to Gib next month with my partner who's Portuguese but her passport has less than six months before expiring but she has her Portuguese ID can she travel with that as I'm not sure on exit and entry rights with Gibraltar. Thanks

She'll be fine travelling within the EU as long as her passport is in date on your return. Tip...if you go up the rock keep hold of any bags. A monkey tried to rob me :-)

As Ummmm has indicated, EU law requires that all citizens be granted free movement within the EU at all times. The only requirement is that they can prove that they're an EU citizen. So any passport issued by an EU nation is valid for travel within the EU right up until the expiry date which is stated on it.
Similarly a national ID card issued by an EU country MUST be accepted for entry into any other EU country throughout the entire period of its validity.
Gibraltar is a member of the EU by virtue of Article 227 of the Treaty of Rome, as it is a "European territory for whose external relations a member state is responsible". (i.e. it will cease to be within the EU after Brexit). There are certain exemptions from normal EU rules which apply to Gibraltar (e.g. those relating to the free movement of goods) but no EU country can be exempt from the rules on the free movement of EU citizens.

Landing on the Rock is wonderful, it's less hairy now that Spain allows over-flying across the Bay, originally planes came in from the Atlantic along the middle line, dropping and turning simultaneously. They had to maintain a certain height until the last minute, it was quite an experience. Reference the apes, keep hold of everything, not just your bag, they love sunglasses. Try to get a visit into St Michael's caves, I think they're more commercial now, used to be only with the Army.
