On the garden for the summer. We have deployed the mini greenhouse/ cold frame, after digging it out and re-assembling it. Checked all the Dahlia tubers and Begonia corms and potted a couple of dozen on. Fuschia plugs have been potted up and the cleaning up of pots and furniture has commenced. Planted the spuds, and started the Broad Beans, Peas, and Courgettes. The weather has been glorious up here and we are now getting a plan together for tomorrow and Sunday. Tired out but glad to have made a start. I bet more of you have taken advantage of the good weather.
Good luck Togo, Looks like you're all set to go!!
I must say, you've provided some excellent answers over the years and i hope you can reap the rewards of your efforts!!
Well it has not b een the best weather to be in my garden to-day but they are forcasting better weather for the week-end. My gardenening now comprises of lots of pots and hanging baskets ,thank goodness I planted lots of perennials and bushes before I retired! I love looking for something different each year to grow, even planted some spuds into a bucket just to see if they will 'crop'.
Wouldn't say set Chip, but we have made that hard first move. "She who must be obeyed" is proper revved now and the garden centre will be under siege starting tomorrow. Haha. She has been on my case for a few weeks and today, seeing as she had a day of, I just stealthfully got my "Jimmy Jewels" out this morning and got weaving. Be non stop now I suppose for about 6 months.
