As I am feeding fodder for mosquitoes, I douse myself in repellent several times a day and so far so good. Bites are at a minimum. But this early evening, because they cannot get to my limbs, I have at the moment 3 bites near my eye. Does anyone know if it safe to put repellent on face??
I am a little wary.
Don't worry, Sharon...you're still in with a chance......Tony just does his good deed for the day by taking an old lady and her shopping trolley out for the day....... :-)
Sharon....first time Tony and I met up we had a little accident with my shopping trolley....the second time I asked him to remove a wasp from the table...it stung him...you're in with more than a chance...... :-)
You can also ask why are there so many around you, it's important to make a note of your surroundings. If there is plenty of stagnant water around for mosquitoes to lay their eggs, then naturally there will be more mosquitoes. Make sure you do what you can to reduce the possible mosquito breeding places in your area. Often you can't do much about this but you can do things like putting a spoonful of veg. oil to float on the surface of rainwater butts.
Spray a repellent, such as 'Boots Repel' or the like, onto a bandanna, fold it and tie it around your hat like a hat band.
No skin contact no worries!!
