Cherry-Almond Tree

I've just purchased a pair of young prunus triloba - double-flowering cherry-almond trees. Can anyone give me tips on how to nurture and care for these plants please?

I'd just like to add that the importance of watering during the current hot weather, especially as these trees are shallow rooted and are of woodland edge origins.
A good thick mulch over the root area will help retain moisture too.
