The vet's never seen this before...she had sores/ulcers all over. They just seemed to be scabs through her fur. She's been shaved, given 14 day antibiotics jab, and I need to treat the wounds with Manuka honey. She's back on Monday...and then tests for possible feline leukaemia or aids.
I just want to cry...wish I'd taken her sooner...though that may not have made a difference.

I am very sorry to hear this about Amber. I would tend to agree with you. If this is going to be the end of her life let her be at home with you and not to and fro the vets.
An awful time, I have been there too often myself. Thoughts are with you x
So sorry to hear that, I too would tend to agree, see what the vet says about making her remaining time comfortable and then enjoy it with her.
