- how good you are at picking new things up
- how old you are....i dont mean to be ageist as this can be very dependant upon the person. Just that i think i could have passed when i was 17 if i had a good instructor at the time and when learning of late ive found it harder. (im now 24)
- also how good the instructors are.
- plus know this is bad but when you do the test passing depends on if the examiner is nice, how well you drive, and that there are no idiots on the road that force you to make mistakes.

Just remember that passing your test does not really mean anything. Experience is what matters. I was taught by my father and then spent six months driving with my wife. I never had a "proper" lesson but passed first time. Passing the test is ome thing - knowing how to drive is another. I hope you know what I mean and good luck.
