Why do they go down like a sack of spuds and roll on the floor as if they`ve been shot?

I did an experiment today with my two sons aged 8 and 5, and after I hacked them down in the garden, they were straight up on their feet and ran in crying to Mrs Elvis...no play acting..nothing...so why do these overpaid footballers do it?

I think you'll find it's just 'grown men' who play the drama queen, if your boys had taken you down and stood on your unmentionables I think you'd have looked just like they guys on screen! :P

its funny how Rugby is a more physical sport than football but you never see Rugby players rolling around on the ground with their face in their hands.. strange that!!!

lol you're so right matt - I was going to expand on that and suggest that football is possibly a game for the not so tough men but I think I'll keep that thought to myself!
