I watched it because I like Jack Dee, but has already been suggested the title Bad Move is very appropriate.
Stick to 'stand up' Jack, as for the actor who played his wife what can one say except what a wooden performance, she looked as if she was preforming in a village amateur comedy play.
Just watched it with lunch, what a waste of time, as has been said very predictable with wooden characters and sign-posted jokes, much as I used to think of Fools and Horses. I'll duck now!
I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a gently comedy without the usual sex and violence or racism that some seem to find 'funny' these days!
Perhaps I am just getting old!!
