Annoying Contestants

Never mind annoying celebrities, annoying contestants, today on The Chase there was Barry a retired teacher who was willing Mark to make an error and he put his specs on to read the question took them off put them on etc. Annoying rant over!

Barry didn't annoy me but I did wonder why he kept putting on and taking off his glasses.

He probably had a problem reading the question. Maybe the spacing between him and the screen was not quite right for his specs.. I usually take my glasses off to read (although they are varifocals and work if I am precise as to distances). If the distance is wrong I can't focus properly, especially on electronic screens.

Mallyh - yes I saw that woman on tipping point, she was really getting on my nerves, I was willing the other guy to knock her out so I didn't have to watch her any more.

I find celebs more annoying than 'real people' on quiz shows. They're so loud! I just think 'Shut up for a minute, will you'. We can see and hear you, you don't need to jump up and down and shout.

the celeb shows can be very cringeworthy at times, when the general knowledge is less than acceptable...
