please help i have a date with my new boo on Wednesday and cold sore just grew in my lips this morning and i want this to go away ASAP pleaseee!!!!!!!!!!! help how do i get rid of it fast ? it hurts and it itches and it burns -_- this thing is ruing my life already help !!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it moisturised, too. Preferably with Zovirax cream. Apply as often as you remember, and definitely more than the recommended 5 times a day.

I didn't know there was a Zovirax drug as in 237's link. However it's a US website, so I wonder if it is actually available here.

cloverjo, zovirax is not just a moisturiser, it is a medication, its active ingredient is an antiviral called acyclovir

get the Zovirax on it straight away it will stop it developing into a scabby sore.

Ice cube held against a cold sore until it's "frozen" then apply Zovirax frequently throughout the day.

but try anyway - zovirax is available at Tescos and other places so you dont need a prescription

Really needs to be applied at the tingling stage
and it sounds as tho you are beyond that
or - - only shortens it if applied at the tingling stage
so you may be on the usual 10 d course.
