Not a programme I would normally watch but caught it late last night. I know our ambulance service is stretched to the limit at times and now I know why. "I have an eyelash stuck in my eye" "I have an ingrown toenail and I'm in agony with it" "I don't know where I am and I need to get home"
I've no idea how the guys and gals on the lines managed to keep their cool and stay so professional. Hats off to them.

oh listen, years ago my local GP's used to do a 24/7 phone in service....they used to get stuff like I can't sleep because my cat hasn't come home.
I like 999...it's just a shame those who have stuck eyelashes probably don't watch it.
