How does one get rid of this no:02476680965, they have got hold of my mobile no. now, rang 6 times yesterday aft. now back on land line. I am on the preference line job. if I look this no. up it seems the world and his wife are fed up with them. do they bother any AB friends .thanks.

Don't get any of these calls on my land line since I bought my new phone, but plagued on my mobile. Just don't answer but have no idea how to delete these numbers. Any advice appreciated.

Download the Mr Number app and block them!

Just keep not answering.

Eventually they will stop.

Your mobile will allow you to block numbers.

F A O maggiebee, I am told there is no way to stop them on the mobile phone, I don't share my mobile with anyone, so where did they get if from?

grannie39, I don't know which mobile phone you have but I have an iphone. If I go into the list of calls and touch the 'i' next to any logged call, I get the option to block that number. I imagine all mobile phones have a similar facility.

Yes it is very easy to block a number on a mobile phone.

Then when they call next time your phone wont even ring.

We leave our home answerphone on all the time.

Persistent callers seem to cross us off their lists after a few .”Hello, please leave a message” responses, as we don’t get many multiple bum calls.

I've got a very, very old Nokia phone and can't download any apps on to it. I just want to call and text so don't want to update my phone, just stop cold calling. Will have a look at some of the links.

Tell them to remove your number from all their data bases as you have not given anyone permission to sell it on to them. If you do that a few times it does seem to work....it did for me!

Is it a real person or is it a machine? If it's a real person buy an Acme Thunderer, a very loud whistle and use it when they phone.

i get quite alot on my iphone and just keep blocking them,my landlines with bt so i set up call protect which is free to use and you can easily block them on that.i only get the odd one now whereas before it was up to 8 a day.

My guess is that it was a randomly generated number, that they now keep trying because you answered it telling them it's a Live number.
