Is it possible to download dash cam footage direct from my dash cam to my phone and if so how?

I can't think of any direct method. You'd need to transfer the footage from your dashcam to your PC and then copy it from there to your phone.

I’ve just had a dash cam fitted.
The chap went through it with me.
Download the app to my mobile, push a couple of buttons and then immediate transfer from dash cam to phone.
Unfortunately.......I have an extremely poor memory, and could not replicate the procedure at home.
If there is an incident I will ask for help.
Not much use to you really, but it can be done.
