Cannot Get Into Email

when trying to access it through answerbank. Am diverted to some new system which i do not want and never asked for. It is trying to force me to set up a 'free' account. For what? How do i get back to the previous mail system? I do recall a message inviting me t try a new version of mail. does anyone understnd what is happening?

Answerbank is a website not an email system.

Who do you get your email from - Yahoo, Hotmail, iCloud etc?

Do you normally go to a website for your email, or do you use an app or programme?

I have had similar trouble and found that I was forced to accept the new programme as I found that somehow my previous one had vanished along with all my old emails.

You've not told us which email service you're trying to access. Is it one provided by your ISP or is it something like Gmail, Outlook or GMX? (i.e. what's the bit after the '@' symbol in your email address). There are hundreds of email providers and they've all got slightly different systems. (It might also help if you can confirm that you're trying to access your email through your web browser, rather than through a dedicated email app. Also, are you using a Windows PC or something like an Android phone?)

If you are accessing your mail through your browser, it could be that you have acquired some malware that is stopping you from using your usual email.
Try emptying your cache and history, and then restarting your device.
