Henman was a fine player, among the world's best at the time. He just wasn't quite good enough to reach Slam finals -- but six semi finals, 11 career titles, and a seven-figure total in Prize money are not achievements to be sniffed at.
Andy Murray has had a great career.
Not only his Grand Slam wins and numerous other title wins, but he also was the very proud flag bearer of the British Olympic team at the opening ceremony in Rio.
His two Olympic gold medals and a silver one (with Laura Robson) adds to his record.
And he was a member of the winning British team in the 2015 Davis Cup, the first win for Britain in 79 years.
If it is the end, Andy, enjoy your retirement, you are a great champion, and tennis will be the poorer without you.
