just wondering.
If doctor refers you for one and it happens, who is given the results?
Hopefully the patient, of course, but would the results not also go to the gp?

I think roo must ve been asked ( best practice)
where I am - the clerks are quite anal about giving out data and reports
Including the eye Hospital ( 'you know I think they shred all their notes as we never get any back'). I asked for the letter to my GP and was told - 'I have no idea what you are talking about.'
and I said 'you amaze me!' The guardian reader behind said - that is data protection innit? and I said 'access to medical records act 1994 - fully 25 y old and never been mentioned here'
Peter - sounds about the way it far too often tends to go, although clearly there are places that are more liberal (reckless ?!). Pathetic.
Hope Hospital at check in asks
do you want copies of the letter to your GP?
yippee!
simple tho innit?
I’ve had two and both times the results were sent to my doctor.
