I was looking forward to Baptiste as I thought the missing was very good, but I am finding it confusing and nowhere near as good. Any thoughts?

I thought it very strange the he would leave his car with the key in the ignition and all the money in the boot. What sort of detective would do that.

I meant obvious to us, the viewer. It should have been him who got out of the car to see what was ailing the driver of the vehicle in front. Wouldn't trust old Tefal head as far as i could throw him.

I have found it confusing in parts, and am not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. Will stick with it though. I wonder why it was necessary to be so graphic with the killing of the lady, though. Too gruesome and not relevant.

Helly I think the killing was deliberately brutal to let us know the Romanian gangsters who rule Amsterdam don't take any prisoners.

Maggiebee; Kim Vogel actually ran the Romanian gang before her 'operation'. Incidentally, the actress who plays her is transgender in real life having crossed over, so to speak, 18 years ago.

Talking to members of the family who are following the programme and we have come to the conclusion that, for some reason, Baptiste doesn't trust Stratton after all and that he has put some kind of tracking device in the hold-all with the cash. Wily old fox that he is.

I agree Baptiste is up to something. However, some of the plot writing is genuinely poor eg a million Euros less a car payment, drinks, lap dancers, expenses does not equate to 'All the money is here. Thank God!' It is funny it is like Dr Evil "I demand a million dollars or I will destroy the world'.
