Was discharged from hospital on Friday after 4 days. Home with a new right knee and a lot of hard work ahead. Thank you for all your good wishes

Maggie has the hospital arranged any community nurse support for you?
The exercises are a pain but long term will speed recovery.
do the hard work, rest with a glass of something in the evening.

Daughter staying with me for the first week so get into a routine. Religiously doing exercises three times per day. Damned sore, but needs must. Walking quite well on two sticks. Rome wasn't built in a day so onwards and upwards. Thanks for all your good wishes.

I hope you do better than my neighbour. He got an infection, consultant said he hadn't. After 15 weeks consultant admitted the mistake. He's now got to have replacement-replacement.
Btw, I'm in hospital in August for a new hip:-)
